Gibbs Machine Co Inc. was founded in 1928 by Mr. R.A. Gibbs (1900-1994), a respected inventor and developer of innovations in the textile industry and as a contract manufacturer.  Now in our 84th year, Gibbs Machine Co. is still operated by family members, H. Allen Gibbs (President) and A. Roger Gibbs (CEO). During that time, Gibbs has supported many blue chip companies.

 

        Greensboro has long been known as the “Gate city” because it has served as a shipping gateway for the manufacturing and agricultural industries. And within the past decade, the area has been recognized as a major transportation hub. Our plant facilities, located in the Piedmont Triad NC industrial corridor, are extremely accessible and central to interstates 40, 85, and 73, as well as the Piedmont Triad International Airport and FedEx hub.
